In 15/16 Atomic launched their Backland touring boots. What makes these boots stand out is the natural way they move: their Free/Lock 2.0 mechanism frees the cuff from the shell for 74° cuff mobility, a Frictionless Pivot creates smooth movement and there”s a removable tongue for climbing. They”re also super light, with the Backland Carbon Light weighing in at just 987g. And unlike any other touring boot they”re packed with Atomic”s all-mountain boot technology like Memory Fit and a Carbon Spine for powerfel skiing. Finally, for this year, they”ve added a new entry model for skiers at the beginning of their touring journey.
